Preparing my home for spring!
I own a home and just want to keep it!
No problem, doing the spring thing for your home!
1. Getting your air conditioner ready to turn on. First, change your filters, clean around your units and call a professional to come and service your unit. This will extend the life of your air conditioner.
2. It is time to clean your gutter system. This will prepare your home for the spring rains. The removal of all of the tree and winter debris will lessen the chances of problems in the future.
3. Roofs need to be maintained before storm season. Call a good roofing company to help you with this. All roofs need to be checked for wear and other maintenance items before the rainy season. Roofs will last longer if maintained on a regular schedule.
4. Clean all around your home’s foundation. Doing a general all over clean up around the foundation of your home will help with the drainage as we go into the rainy spring season.
What is happening in Real Estate?
Oklahoma real estate marketing trends!
In Oklahoma City, our really busy real estate time of the year is just around the corner. Traditionally buyers do not want to move while their children are still attending school for the current year. In May, as the end of the school year nears the market will pick up. Buyers want to get closed before the new school year begins. So, March and April is a good time for sellers and buyers to start working on their plan. It takes approximately 30-45 days to close a house so time is of the essence. You call me (405) 740-2356 or go to my website contact me by email!
